About Heather Hitchcock
I have trained, titled and competed in multiple venues and sports my entire life. Starting in the 80s I started with conformation and obedience. Following my love of dogs and training has given me years of experiences in the following: obedience (AKC, UKC, schutzhund), tracking (AKC, schutzhund), conformation (AKC, UKC) to agility (AKC) & nosework.
I have worked in multiple training venues building on my passion to train and compete.
After focusing on schutzhund in 2015, I started concentrating on the dogs structure and health due to the strenuous work in the sport. An unexplained injury to my young dog with no clear answers from veterinary practices prompted a search of holistic practitioners. Seeing dramatic results from massage therapy prompted me to find the path to become a practitioner myself.
Completing training and certification in 2020 for canine myo-manipulative functional therapy, I continue to attend various seminars in a range of k9 sports.
